Car crashes into gates of German chancellor’s Office in Berlin, Germany

A car has crashed into the gates of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's office in Berlin ahead of a meeting where the extension of Germany's coronavirus lockdown was set to be discussed. Reuters photographs from the scene of the incident showed police inspecting a vehicle with the words "Stop Globalisation Politics" written in white on the Volkswagen sedan's right side. One person is arrested, no injuries reported.
